    Dr Calan Khong

    Background
    Dr Calan Khong graduated from Monash University in 1997 ,then completed basic surgical training before realising that he was more suited to general practice. As a GP, he is currently expanding his knowledge on nutrition, natural remedies and acupuncture, and feels it is rewarding to provide these alternatives to patients.

    In 2013, he completed his graduate certificate in acupuncture with Monash University. He is currently a member of ACNEM and the RACGP. He is currently undertaking a Chinese Medicine degree at the Southern School of Natural Medicine in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

    He is passionate about preventative health, and using natural remedies like lifestyle, diet and supplements where possible to maximise his patients’ energy and well-being. He is very interested in the use of acupuncture and ultimately would love to blend Eastern and Western modalities.
