    Background

    Dr Mary Stavropoulou is a medical doctor accredited by the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, the only recognised professional body of skin cancer professionals in Australia.

    She has nearly twelve years’ experience in skin cancer medicine with expertise in the prevention, early detection and treatment of skin cancer.

    She also has a special interest in a holistic approach to skin care, aiming for the optimal health and wellbeing of her patients.

    Dedicated to her patients, she offers compassionate patient centred care, empowering patients to make their own choices about their health.

    She takes special care to be independent and ethical.

    She practises evidence-based medicine, attending skin cancer conferences regularly to keep up with the latest research and best practice standards.

    She uses state of the art, cutting edge technology in imaging and photography of skin lesions.

    She has developed excellent working relationships over the years with some of the expert specialists in the field of skin cancer medicine and treatment, which is especially important when referral is required.

    She looks forward to joining the harmonious environment at NIIM and working alongside other health care professionals who practise holistic medicine.

    She is fluent in Greek.

    Consultation times/fees

    Mary will begin practicing at the NIIM Clinic in September 2017, No referral is required and Medicare rebates are available.
