Day 2:
“Tour Down Under day 2 milestone training ride complete. Today I rode a distance of 142.5k with 1,271 meters of climbing and at an average speed 26kph. I’m very happy with today’s effort especially considering it was a semi solo ride. I had just x1 riding buddy so no slipstreaming.”

Monday 21 Jan 2019:

Michael’s Tour Down Under milestone training is now completed!
Michael rode even more km than the professional cyclists in Adelaide over the 6-day event, despite some annoying physical ailments.

Michael: “The professionals rode 810.4k and I rode 815.9k, the big difference of course being the speed and elevation. I chose a couple of flat days due to my saddle sores.

Next milestone ride is the grueling 200k Alpine Classic this coming Sunday Australia Day Long Weekend.
