A recent Study lead by Dr Karin Ried has studied Garlic, it’s blood pressure-lowering properties and it’s potential use as a treatment for Hypertension, a medical condition that affects about 30% of adults worldwide. Dr Karin Ried’s trial assessed the effect, dose–response, tolerability and acceptability of different doses of aged garlic extract as an adjunct treatment to existing antihypertensive medication in patients with uncontrolled hypertension.
