    Research - Menstrual Health Survey

The menstrual cycle – a mystery, a nuisance, a tabu topic? A window to general health, mood and fertility. What do we know, what don’t we know about menstrual health? This survey will help to shed some light on this.

We would like to invite you to take part in an online survey.

Researchers at National Institute of Integrative Medicine in Melbourne in conjunction with University of Adelaide are conducting a project to assess the ‘Knowledge, attitude, experience and education about menstrual health’ as part of ongoing research into women’s health and fertility awareness led by chief investigator Dr Karin Ried.

The survey is online and will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

To participate, please go to: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/B7997PCM

Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any stage of the survey. Participants are assured of confidentiality and responses remain anonymous. Participants can choose to go into a draw to win a prize for taking part. Contact details for the prize draw will not be linked to survey responses.

Both females and males can take part in the survey. There is no age limit.
Men are encouraged to participate in the survey, too, and will take them less time to complete (10-15 min).

A summary of the results will be published in a relevant peer reviewed journal. Participants may request a study summary from the researchers at completion of the project.

We would be most happy to answer any questions you have. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thank you for your participation.
